Data collection

Signature does not collect or transmit any personal data, and nothing is ever sent to a server. The tool runs entirely in your browser. PDF files and signature images are processed locally. Your saved signatures are cached in session storage on your own device so you can reuse them while the tab is open; clearing your browser data removes them.

Cookies

The Signature tool itself sets no tracking cookies. Cloudflare, the CDN provider, may set a strictly necessary cookie for security and performance. No analytics scripts are loaded. If and when advertising is enabled on this site, Google and its partners may set additional cookies to serve and personalize ads, as described in the Advertising section below.

Advertising

This site may use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or the opt-out page at aboutads.info. You can also disable advertising cookies in your browser settings.

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, advertising cookies are only used with your consent. A consent management platform will ask for your choice before advertising cookies are set, and no personalized ads are served without consent.

Third-party services

The page loads code from third-party content delivery networks (CDNs) to display and edit PDFs. This code runs in your browser and does not send your data to its hosts. Google Fonts is loaded for typography; see Google's privacy policy for details. If advertising is enabled, Google AdSense code loads from Google's ad servers and may use cookies as described in the Advertising section.

Data retention

No data is retained on any server. When you close the tab, everything is discarded. Refreshing the page discards the loaded document and unsaved edits, while saved signatures stay cached in session storage on your device until the tab closes or browser data is cleared. Downloaded PDFs exist only on your device.
